curated conversations on the human experience through the power of three hand-picked songs, 10 guests, A vintage turntable…and a one-room schoolhouse.
Three records play. One central theme unfolds. Conversation moves from surface to depth — because music takes you there before your guard even knows what happened.
Step inside the Schoolhouse Sessions…
This spring, an intimate circle will gather inside a restored 1859 schoolhouse, hidden deep in the woods. A place where the walls still hum with curiosity, the chalkboards remember a thousand questions, and every creak of the floorboards tells a story. Here, learning isn't about rote lessons. Instead, it's about discovery, reflection, and the kind of self-knowledge that actually changes things.
By invitation or application only, these evenings are designed for those who crave meaningful conversation, unexpected insight — and the transportive power of a perfectly chosen song.
Each gathering, up to ten guests take their place around a vintage turntable. We listen consciously — really listen — to up to three handpicked tracks on vinyl. No background music. No half-attention. Each song curated to stir something real: a memory, a feeling, a thought you didn't know you were carrying. Music has a way of opening doors to conversations most people never quite find their way into. This is that door.
Playful, immersive, and sharply imagined, each session is designed to unlock forward motion — so you leave not only moved, but motivated. Fresh clarity. Surprising perspective. Deeper connections. Your next empowered step forward. Oh, and cool AF homework to actually live it.
Together, we'll explore the big themes of the human experience through music and conversation that goes somewhere — surrounded by the stillness of the forest and the enduring spirit of this one-room schoolhouse.
(And yes, you can ring the bell.)
Everyone who joins the Schoolhouse Sessions starts with a private 15-minute session with your host, Bethany. Think of it like a sound check before the show. We'll get into your world for a moment, and together we'll know if this is your vibe.
But it's more than that.
Your session shapes the evening itself. The central theme, and the songs chosen to carry it, are drawn from everyone in the room.
So on the day, the energy is right, the people are your people, the music was always going to be yours — and we can just play.
